i tried to install software update ios 6.1.6 for my iphone 3gs(8gb), but as it reached the completion of the update it displays "an error downloading ios 6.1.6". i tried it many times to download, but it always display the same message.
pls can anyone help me solve this problem.

I can not restore my ipod 4th gen..it says the same to download 6.1.6 update and when it is about to complete it says there is an error in downloading..currently i have 6.1.6 in my ipod but not in my laptop.. please help me...
im having the same issue im trying to restore an iphone 3gs and it wont update through from itues, even when i download the ipsw sepretly im still having issues upating it will get stock 1/4 of the update process.
first of all download latest version of itunes and then try to update ur iphone nd u may have problem during the update if u r having a poor net connection,i m also having tat problem so dont worry try u will get succeed.
