New Mac Pro, Creating EyeFinity display groups in Bootcamp.

I've seen it done on a youtube video with 6 screens on crysis,

Yet I can't seem to find any setting in the FirePro Control center, that allows me to create a display group.

Crossfire is enabled and works fine, but seemingly on one screen. I'm not even sure if that's working as I have little experience with AMD AGPs... when I would "Enable SLi for maximum performance" on Nvidia cards, it would disable my other displays, and only show one SLid display... or I could span the displays, with Sli and show one big 3 screen display.

On this setup, when I turn crossfire on, it doesnt seem to change anything, all 3 screens remain on... I'm hoping it's smart enough to pump all the power to the active games display, but I can't really tell.

But that's only a single display, if, I want to play WoW on a spanned display across 3 monitors like I did with my old nVidia setup...

The whole "Eyefinity" section of the Control Center seems not to exist.

I'm wondering, do I need to install Catalyst instead of FirePro control center?

Will that mess up my drivers?

This guy doesn't really get into how he did it.

Any thoughts Mac'les?

That Starttech does not go beyond 1920 wide, and will not count as an ACTIVE adapter.

The new Mac Pro black cylinder is limited to at most two non-ACTIVE adapters, including its built-in HDMI port if in use.

I was able to get 3 DVI monitors working one mine. 2 with passive DVI to MiniDP converters, and one Active USB Powered Dual Link Dvi to Mini DP converter.

It was buggy especially in windows. But this wasn't really the problem I'm working on. I was hoping that it was the reason I wasn't able to see the EyeFinity options, but, I went ahead and traded up monitors, to three Display Port monitors.

I still see no options in BootCamp, Firepro control center related to EyeFinity Multi Display group options... the tab is missing completely.

I wish I could get that Australian guy who made it work to respond regarding what he had to do to do so.

Why dont you just use 1x active DVI > DP cable on the new setup with 2 x DP > DP?

Whats the point? It will easily run up to 6 DP monitors? Why do I want to force it to convert a signal?

It runs 3x DP with no issue perfectly.

There are no EyeFinity display options in the drivers is my only problem.

Are you saying by running one monitor as a DVI it magically makes the settings show up?

I'm just suggesting for you to try it.

From what I've read (read above) EyeFinity needs the clock signal from the DVI converter.

3 x DP cables don't supply the extra clock.

Lots of people use eyefinity with DP only setups, but I tried to do this with all 3 DVI monitors... same issue.

and from my side I can confirm after testing all possible DVI connections in all combinations with active and/or passive converter, in/excluding HDMI connection, same or separate bus on the TB connections ... no Eyefinity setup possible!
