My power button also doesn't work so I have no idea how to get it working again!

If the power button is broken and it does not respond to the home button, you will have to take it to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs check it out for you. If they have to replace the iPhone, an out-of-warranty replacement is $149 n the US
Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
This happened to me a few times when I first got my iPhone 4S. Both times I just waited it out but after about 24 hours it randomly turned back on. It's annoying, but wait a little bit to see if this happens so you don't have to worry about restoring and losing your stuff. If it does turn back on, try to get it replaced or fixed by Apple before it happens again!
