how do i open/convert txt files?
The check tracking program I use exports in TXF format to be used in Tax Prep software. I want to open these files to create reports in Numbers/Exel/Pages etc.

There is a huge difference between txf files and txt files. Txf files are in Tax Exchange Format. I will assume that is what you are talking about, and that txt (text) files are completely irrelevant.
