Stop Facetime loading at startup

How can I stop this? It's not a login item under system preferences/user account/login items. There is no option to disable the startup launch in preferences in the app itself. I can obviously delete the app, but thought I'd see if anyone knew a less dramatic route.

Why do you do this Apple? It was a security update for a particularly egregious problem. Was there any need to sneak something people didn't want into it and then give them no way to undo it?

You see Facetime at the dock, right click there and go to options and uncheck open at login. Hope this helps.

i tried both of these solutions as well, and i am still getting a pop up, both for iCloud and FaceTime, each time I sign in to our home computer. Any new suggestions? Thanks in advance.

thank you. this does not clear the pop up box for iCloud. is there a way to disable both the FaceTime and the iCloud pop ups from appearing at every startup?

The only solution that works is to backup and then remove Facetime.app completely
