Wie kann ich lion wiederherstellen? (OS X updates haben meinen Mac extrem verlangsamt)

Hallo, ich habe auf meinem IMac (sommer 2012 gekauft und ausgestattet mit Lion, 4GB Arbeitsspeicher,...) bisher immer die neuste Version von OS X geladen, und jedes mal wurde mein mac langsamer...

Kann ich mein Mac auf OS X Lion wieder zurücksetzen? Oder/Und bringt eine Arbeitsspeicher-Aufrüstung hier was?
