imap email rejected

I have changed my password several times to be comliant with Apples security provisions like more than 8 characters, one upper case, at least one numeric, and a character and I am still receiving he iCloud IMAP server rejecting at the server level, p02-imap.mail.me.com over and over again. My phone however is receiving emails immediately and is syncing. What is the issue?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
