internet explorer 5.5

Hi,
Apple care suggested that I request from someone on discussions that internet explorer 5.5 be forward to me so that I can down load it to my computer. Can anyone help?

A simple Google search for "download old web browsers" will get you what you're looking for.

Do you realize this browser is no longer supported and distributed? It has not been updated in a few years and is growing more and more incompatible with websites.

I would suggest you look for current versions of supported browsers such as Firefox.

I agree with mecklists, Firefox should do better, since the Explorer edition in hand is ancestral.

Nonetheless, you can get the last Explorer edition (note it is 5.2.3, 5.5 was never issued) here: http://mac.majorgeeks.com/download4560.html
