My credit card was charged, but I'd made no purchase

I had to change my Apple ID e-mail to a new one I'd created earlier today. Everything was okay until I logged into Games Center and found out my Phone had logged me in through a very old Apple ID I'd deleted ages ago. So, I switched my account info to my new ID and everything was back to normal.
Shortly after, I recieved a text from my bank servise, telling me that I'd been charged 1,98 Euro for a purchase from Apple iTunes st. As you might have guessed, I made no such purchase. I contacted the bank and they informed me that the purchase hadn't actually gone through yet, so there was nothing they could do for now.
On another discussion I saw that somebody had been charged money for changing their credit card information for their Apple ID, but there was no actual solution or explaination offered for this. I also had to enter my credit card information all over again, but the card itself is still the same.


Basically, have I accidentally done something to be charged myself, am I missing something incredibly obvious, or is this not my fault? If it's the latter, how can I contact someone about it?

We are fellow users, these are user-to-user forums, nobody on here will know what the charge is for.


Have you tried looking at your accounts purchase histories (including family members if you are a family organiser in family sharing) : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC - Apple Support ? If you find it but didn't do the purchase, change the account's password and contact iTunes Support e.g. http://reportaproblem.apple.com or the 'contact us' link at the bottom right of every page on here.


If it doesn't show on your (nor family members) account(s) contact your card issuer
