Can't Access Time Capsule From Finder

When I open a Finder window I see my TC listed under Shared but when I click on it it disappears. Then seconds later it reappears. The only way I'm able to connect is by going to Go > Connect To Server > and entering smb://TCNAME or afp://TCNAME.local But even when I connect with either method I see the drive on my desktop, I can access the "Data" drive in Finder. But when I go into Finder under Shared I click my TC and is says "Connection Failed" and gives me the option to "Connect As" but when I click it nothing happens. I've used similar setups before you click the TC name and it works no problem, what am I doing wrong?

My setup I'm running is TC in bridged mode with file sharing turned on, I've got the new 3TB model, I'm accessing it from my MBP running latest version of Mavericks.
