Final answer: you cannot play PPC games on your Intel mac, as you cannot revert from your present version of OS X to Snow Leopard.

Buy more up to date versions of the games.

Have another cup of coffee next time before you respond! 😁 There is no "more up to date version" of SIMS 2!.

Roger's advice is on point for many, but not all PPC "games" that originally ran on PPC Macs. Some of those that had 3D or complex graphics do not work well or at all in virtualization, such as in Parallels.

SIMS 2, unfortunately, is a horse of a different color. It has been reported that it had windows code that was ported over to the PPC Mac.

I have not seen any reports whether or not this program will work in Snow Leopard Server installed into Parallels. You can experiment (and please report back) by purchasing Snow Leopard Server from Apple by telephone orders only (1.800.MYAPPLE [1.800.692.7753] - Apple Part Number: MC588Z/A) for $19.95 and using the 14 day free trial version of Parallels:

It is always a good idea to purchase Snow Leopard Server, while Apple still has it discounted by 95% from its original price, in case you desire to run other PPC apps in the future on new Macs!
