Says all devices are offline. All devices are not offline.

I wanted to find my ipad, which may be offline, so I went to find my iphone and it says all devices are offline. But I am sitting here looking at my iphone, and it is definitely on, not in airplane mode or anything.

why is it is doing this and how do I find my ipad now?

Same. Can't find my iPad 2 and Find My iPhone says it's offline. HOWEVER iTunes sees the iPad and can even sync it. I just completed a backup to my Mac over wifi of the iPad. There's no question the iPad is therefore online. Is FMI broken in 7.0.4 for iPad? I wish I could ping the iPad already to know what cusion or whatever it's behind. Driving me nuts and I feel totally helpless. Anyone have and tricks for another way to make it make a noise being as I can at least view and manipulate the decide from iTunes?
