can a mac read a file with .pcd extension

We have several old cd with photos on them with the .pcd extension. I belive that it's an old Kodak Photo cd and we don't have them any where but on these disk. Can anyone help me?

Have you tried double clikcing on the file to see if it opens? If OS X can open it it will launch the correct app to do so. If not then you will probably need some kind of graphic converter program to open the files. One excellent choice is GraphicConverter which will open just about any picture or graphic file. You can find it in the Mac App Store.
