On my iPad with ios7, how do I delete audiobooks

Before I upgraded to ios7, I could delete audiobooks from my iPad but now I can't figure out how to do it. The ones I have finished with take up too much space/memory so I wish to delete them completely and free up space to load new titles to listen to. Please help.

iPad 2, iOS 7.0.6

You can delete them via Settings > General > Usage > Music - swipe or drag across the audiobook name from right-to-left and you should get a Delete button revealed on its right-hand end.

Audiobooks from iTunes are a one-time only download from the store, so if you've downloaded it directly on your iPad and you don't have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes then you may want to copy it over before deleting it (unless you won't want to listen to it again in the future) - connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy it
