iOS 7.1 Zooming Wallpaper with Perspective Zoom Turned Off

What's your device model? Mine is A1475. I don't know if it matters.

Same issue here on an ipad 2.

In 7.0.x simply setting Reduce Motion to on stopped it from zooming wallpapers. Now 7.1 zooms everything no matter what the setting.

I try to be patient with Apple but this is getting old. I'll pis there if I find anything.

Same here. Zooming has gotten much worse.

Do you actually have the parallax zoom button there when selecting wallpaper? I thought there should have been one added in 7.1 but I do not have it on Iphone 5s, so now my wallpaper just zooms and I can't do anything about this, since reduce motion no longer works for this.

Everything works fine for me - including zoom. Remember that landscape images may be zoomed to make the vertical size match. You can adjust the image position horizontally to get the part of the image you want to show in portrait mode, then save.

I managed to find out that paralax zoom button only appears if reduce motion function is turned OFF. But even then, with paralax turned off, I still get some zooming. Not that much but it is there. And it was not there with 7.0 and reduce motion ON.

Just upgraded to 7.1 I find that with reduce motion selected and paralax off, I have much more control over how my photos are displayed as wallpaper. Way better than before the upgrade. Very pleased with the new controls.

I don't have the control of which you speak on my iPad, 3rd gen. I hate this. I wish to see my full custom wallpaper of Batman!! :-(

Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion

Oh yeah that actually makes sense. I just tried the portrait mode and it works perfectly.

But I believe most people use landscape way more than portrait. At least I only use portrait when I'm reading books.

That doesn't work for 7.1

I meant having much more control on how photos are displayed control, not the controls in "Settings." Thanks, anyway. I can get it working to a small degree in portrait, but I rarely use portrait, so . . .

N.B. Perspective Zoom: on/off only appears if you have Reduce Motion off. If Reduce Motion is on then that also disables the perspective zoom effect globally.

I T D O E S N ' T W O R K . It cuts off part of the photo no matter what I try. The lower icon bar conceals more of my wallpaper than it had in iOS 7.0. If I try to get it to show, the top of the photo appears cropped. The image shown in settings of the wallpaper is perfect, but that image does not really represent what appears.

However, thanks to your suggestion, I can get the "perspective on/off" to appear. Taking reduced motion off worked for that. I've settled for another photo of the Batman in his alter-ego identity; not as good as the one I had, but it's serviceable until a *real* fix for this issue arrives.
