still slow after 10.9.2

been through months of update advice, confirming,verifying disks, permissions, upgraded memory to 12 GB, 1333 Mhz DDR3, little disk space used,(under 20%)

computer still slow in finder, any window access, hours a day wasted for little wheel to finish spinning on any click.....
