Battery drain problem still persist after ios 7.1 update

I am still experiencing battery drain issue after updated to ios 7.1 after first experiencing the issue when updated to ios 7.0.6. Have try all the reset fix options, battery optimization measures etc suggested by apple techies and communities today and back then. But my juices kept spilled out like a deluge water.

Anybody experienced this today or have any fix suggestions to this as it seems that ios 7.1 is not solving it at all, which is very dissapointing considering the expectation before ios 7.1 was released.

This occurs to my iphone 5c ios 7.1 16gb only, and not happened to my ipad mini wifi 16gb with ios 7.1.

After 8 hours I'd restored as new thru iTunes and without restoring iCloud data at all,Just flat iPhone. The problem still not resolved, drained in just 8 hours without barely used it except adjusting battery saving measures and it still heating.

I guess it's a global problem affecting some iPhone users after updating to 7.0.6 or 7.1 that Apple has to look into this now. Be it hardware or software, the reports of the problem starts resurface in tech site now.

There's no response from apple inc as yet regarding this issue of ours. This is similar to the battery-gate issue affecting the iPhone 4s back in November 2011 but this is the 1st time I've experienced it. This issue got to be addressed by apple a.s.a.p. hope so, with ios 7.1.1 or something. On top of the wifi connectivity and Bluetooth issue some other has reporting after updates to ios 7.1

I downloaded Battery Doctor which showed a 'not returned' app that was causing high battery drain. Like others this cleared after reset as long as wifi was off. In the end I did a phone backup to laptop and then a full restore (for the many many hours that takes). Battery doctor now showing no rogue apps and battery life is better. (My phone was even warm when in standby). Hope it helps!

With battery doctor running and going to power usage I had not returned for an unknown app even with all other apps closed. Even without using battery doctor it is probably worth taking the hours to do a full restore after backing up. The battery doctor is just a quick way to see the problem has likely gone but my battery life is definitely back to normal levels. I tried to paste a photo of the power useage screen but couldn't paste in the type window!

Ps I'm at ios 7.1.1

A few days in now and it's back to bad battery life again and showing a high power consumer that is an unknown and not 'running' app. I'm wondering if there's a link to 3/4g? I tend to turn off my cellular data when in wifi or not needing internet services and perhaps this meses it up somehow? It's got to be software but how and why I don't know yet! The search resumes.
