Bad Parameters??? uploading

I've been using Photobucket.com and Photoshopcontest.com for over a year. Now when I try to use my Safari to upload an image it says bad parameters. Also the same thing with Photobucket. It says it won't allow.

I have no idea what I am doing wrong or where I need to start to fix this problem. I've asked several people, but they just say switch browsers. I've always enjoyed my Safari up to this point.. I hate switching. I would rather fix the problem then start using something else

I-MAC, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

Hello Kansas & Welcome to Apple Discussions !!

Is there more to the message you receive?
Please make sure to grab a screenshot or jot it down.

Launch the Console [ utilities folder] & dock it, attempt to use Photobucket ( I use it with os 10.47 Pb no problem ) and see what it logs if any errors are generated ?

What happens when you try to use photobucket in an other user account. If you do not have one. Please create one & try it there.

Then we will have a clue if this is a systemic issue or isolated to your user account. System pref./Accounts/Login Options use the [+] to create one.

Also this might help you find some clues. Mac errors

Let us know what you find.
Thanks.

Hey Thanks... I will give these things a try..

But mainly it just started happening... I first noticed it while trying to upload at Photoshopcontest.com, a site that I frequent. Then I tried to go through the backdoor to skip over the problem and tried photobucket like I've done a million times and it quit working too.

So give me some time and I appreciate your feedback.. more soon..

Hey Kansas,

Are you using an intel imac? If yes do you run Safari under Rosetta?

Aug 13 19:04:13 Kathys-Computer /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/MacOS/Finder: Corrupt JPEG data: premature end of data segment\n

look like you may have a corrupt jpeg on the desktop.

Do you know what KGGGProxy Session is or means looks as if you are using a proxy, System prefrences-> network Show:Airport ethernet what ever you use to connect-> Proxies tab is something checked there ? Try deselecting it. See if that helps.
----------------------------------------

The links you post from the Console link up to PhotoContest giving this error perhaps the corrupt Jpeg is the one you are trying to upload ? I can only guess . I think contacting them as well might be helpful, are they the ones that recommended you use another browser? I see the site is an Adobe site.

Error
The image MUST be exactly 1280x960 pixels.
Please go back and try again.

Did Safari work in another account ? You can place the Jpeg you are trying to upload in the sharing folder and try uploading it from the other test account.

Let us know, okay?

Oh yeah it says this too...
Safari can’t connect to the server.
Safari can’t open the page “http://photoshopcontest.com/submit-image/original.html” because it could not connect to the server “photoshopcontest.com”.

This is giving the same message

Error

The image MUST be exactly 1280x960 pixels.

Please go back and try again.

Do you use this Software, install it recently or update the os recently and perhaps they are not compatible.

So seem you may a corrupt Jpeg on the desktop/Finder
A proxy issue, possibly due to this software if i were you i would check out the support at the kidsgogogo site, as well.See if they have an update
I hope this helps offer some ideas, help.
