Since upgrading to iOS 7.1 my signal strength varies erratically. Frequently I get "No Service". Signal strength drops from 3-4 bars to 1 and calls fail repeatedly. Anyone else having these issues or have a solution?

Since upgrading my AT&T iPhone 4S to iOS 7.1 my signal strength varies erratically. Frequently I get "No Service". When I do get a signal, signal strenght varies from 3-4 bars to 1 bar and calls fail repeatedly. I have reset network settings, rebooted, etc. all to no avail. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or have a solution?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1

This is exactly what my phone is doing!! Mine too was out of warranty and Apple was so gracious 😠 to let me BUY new 4S phone for $225 .... Guess what it TOO has the same issue. So they sent me back to AT&T again and now AT&T is sending me back to Apple. (4th time) So I still have no service but I do have a new phone. 😟 So I'm sure Apple will just try to sell me another phone.... at this point I think NOT!! After three and half weeks of no phone service the majority of the time I am truly disappointed in AT&T and Apple and at my wits end.


What happen Ale do you still have problem? Anyone else??

I am having exactly the same issue on my iphone5 since lsar month. The sim is working absolutely fine on any other handset except on my iPhone 5. its after the upgrade to ios 7.1.2 and now today after upgrading it to ios 8 the problem is still there. "No service" error. I am really frustrated. Was hoping that the software ios8 would fix this issue but.......don't want to loose or change my handset.....people if there is any possible solution to it please let me know.
