Where can I find my downloads on my mini ipad

You don't download on an iPad like you do on a computer. "Downloads" are done via the App Store, iTunes and iBooks. Any files must be saved into compatible apps.

so exactly what are you looking for?

If you download an app, it should appear on one of your home screens, depending on where there is room.

Books will appear in iBooks. So will any pdfs that you transfer across via iTunes.

Magazines will appear in NewsStand

Music will appear in the red Music app

etc.

after you have connected to iTunes, and made the selected downloads, go to the app on the iPad, click the + symbol top left of the screen, and it will ask you which downloads you want on the iPad..... THEN you will be able to find them!
