Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Since updating my ipad 2 to ios 7.1 I am unable to connect to my wifi. I have tried all the fixes found on the community discussions. Nothing works! I need my ipad and when it's down I'm losing money! I'm sure other ipad users are haviing the same problems .....please help!

Here is an article that talks about how one of the possible resolutions is the back light - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3304 . I did not test this one myself.
My son's iPad2 had wifi connection issue for a while with iOS 7.1, it keeps drop off connection and can not reconnection by itself. In the meantime the iPhone 5S, 4S and my iPad Air are all work ok for same wifi. I tried to reset network settings, restart and no help.
Just updated to iOS 7.1.1 and it just getting worse.
To see if it is the same issue as what I had, sit it on top of your router......does it connect. If so then yes indeed you have same issue as many of us...ipad will not connect to 2.4 Ghz wifi. At that point you have two solutions, open a case with Apple or buy a wireless router that is dual band (operates at yhe 2.4 and 5 Ghz frequencies. Good luck.
