DUMPING MY MPC3000 FOR LOGIC?

Hey guys,im at a delima right now.i own an mpc 3000 and dont get me wrong i truely love it and swear by it. i also have logic express and love it also. lately ive been doing alot of things in logic as far as just making music in it and its"REAL NICE"..im sooo used to the mpc and what it can do but i think logic allows me to do more.either way it i know the music is going to hit the computer regaurdless so why not just make my beats in logic? mix, record and save in one file!

i dont like the hassle of making my beat in the mpc then tracking it over as audio into logic.i have no sound moduels so EVERY sound i need i have to grab it from records.even synth's and pads(you know how hard THAT is to find on wax?) what do you guys think?

if you are really dumping.... dump over here. but seriously.. i would keep the mpc and get logic. there are things you can do in logic you can't with the mpc, but for some reason, the mpc always sounds better... you are going to end up missing that "something"... i still don't think that software is as good as hardware sound-wise. close! but not quite the same. not only that but if you are really getting all your sounds from records and thinking of changing that i think the whole feel and style of your music is going to change. a good idea tho since you have logic express... audio hijack and phatmatic pro. then you can just grab cuts off of itunes.... then again... no snap crackle pop... and thats half the fun!

i know im going to miss certain things but i think the overall song creation is what im looking for now and a better workflow which Logic allows me. a workflow is SOOO important to me.i have to keep moving and keep being creative when im making music. i didnt want to make a beat on the mpc, track over 8tracks at a time(mpc 8 outs),get it all in logic, then i still have to edit and mix! i would rather do it all on one platform. i have NO sound modules so i would have to turn to logic regaurdless.i just dont know its all still up in the air.
