touch id setting disappeared?

after the upgrade to 7.1 has anyone noticed the TouchID settings missing?

Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Try to put the device into force recovery mode (after creating a backup) and restore it then via iTunes, it solved this issue for me.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808?viewlocale=en_US - if you don't know how to enter recovery mode.
