LOGIC PRO X CONTENT INSTALLATION 'INTERNET CONNECTION LOST", LOGIC PRO X CONTENT INSTALLATION 'INTERNET CONNECTION LOST"

Hi

I have just bought LOGIC PRO X and have downloaded the program.

I am now insalling the 'essential sounds etc' but everytime it asks for my Mac password, straight after it crashes & states '

'Logic pro x was not able to complete the download. check your internet connection and try downloading again'

My internet connection is fine and working as normal and it keeps crashing at the same point. I have restarted the computer and tried this about 4 times now.

can you help?

Thanks

Logic Pro X, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Hi musmojam,

This is my first time posting on this discussion board, but hopefully I can be of some help.

In Terminal, I saw the manual download link, and tried that - it worked!

This is the link Logic Pro X is actually fetching the basic content from:

http://audiocontentdownload.apple.com/lp10_ms3_content_2013/ProAudioCoreContent1 0.pkg

So download it, install it, then you should be good to go. Enjoy!

Hello purejay

I followed your suggestions and installed the Basic Content as per the link you provided.

The problem I have now is that Logic Pro opens its icon and top screen command list, but the programme itself does not launch, i.e. I don't get a a LPX screen, nothing. Just my desktop screen. If I click ABout Logic Pro X in teh comman menu, I get a Localizing Error.

How can I uninstall the pack that you link helped me download? Where are those file located?

Thanks
