my cousin gave me his iphone 4 for verizon and he just told me that his account for that phone is disabled and dont know his stuff to it all we know is the email address and i need to know if i can go to verizon and have them do something or if i have to call apple!! PLEASE HELP IM IN DESPERATE NEED OF A NEW PHONE!!!!

Why is the account disabled? Does it have to do with non-payment. If so, then Verizon will not activate the phone. The only way for you to get the iPhone 4 activated anyway is to contact Verizon. They will be able to answer your questions.

Reset WHAT? What kind of "account" is disabled? If you're talking about a Verizon account that was disabled for non payment, the only way you're going to get it enabled is by paying the balance due, and possibly an early termination fee.
You still haven't explained what the problem you have is in a way that's clear enough to understand.
You need to contact Verizon with the iPhone's electronic serial number to be activated. If they will not activate it, then it is blocked due to something being wrong with your cousin's account, thus it being disabled. Only Verizon can activate the phone.
his apple account is whats disabled not the verizon the apple account he has a new phone with his verizon contract his contract with verizons fine and i don't need the phone activated i just the phone unlocked so i can reset it. cuz ifs it cant be unlocked then im not paying $105 dollars to get it fixed

its kinda like the second one since his apple account is disabled and he don't know his information to his apple account(he now gots a new apple account) with the find my iphone on it wont let us turn it off or let us reset the phone. like all the setting in icloud is grey n wont let us click on anything in ilcoud
oh and the lock button is broken so i cant use it or turn it off
He's going to have to recover his Apple ID that was used to set up Find My iPhone before you'll be able to activate and use the iPhone. He can try here:
but if he is unsuccessful there he's going to have to call Apple Support and ask to speak with Account Security. Until that Apple ID is recovered, he won't be able to remove Activation Lock.

No. Verizon can't do anything about it. You've already been told what needs to be done.
