My iPad won't allow me to access twitter via safari or the twitter app. My iPad is updated with the IOS 7.1.

'Safari cannot open the page because it could not connect to the server' Appears when I try open twitter in safari

'The login verification feature is currently unavailable, please try again later.' Appears when I try log in on the app.

My twitter account is working perfectly on my iPhone and all other devices. It has been like this for the last few days.

I've deleted the app and reinstalled it, I've turned off my iPad off and turned it back on but unfortunately I've had no luck.

Can someone please help me!

iPad 2, iOS 7.1

If Safari is working otherwise and you can log onto other websites, try clearing Safari and reset your iPad. That might help with the Twitter app as well.

Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data.

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
