iTunes won't recognize my Internet connection

When I try to open iTunes store, I get this error message:

iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. An unknown error occured (0x80090318). Make sure your network connection is active and try again.

I have since discovered anytime I try to use an iTunes feature that requires the Inernet, it doesn't work (egs. iTunes Match, updating iTunes...)

iTunes simply does not recognize my Internet connection, even though I have no problem using the Internet outside of iTunes.

I am using Windows 7 (64bit)

I've gone through MANY suggested fixes, including:

~ removing all iTunes components (in the correct order), and reinstalling iTunes

~ trying a previous version of iTunes

~ temporarily disabling my firewall (all Apple products are currently allowed to pass my firewall anyway, though)

~ temporarily uninstalling Microsoft Security Essentials (my anti-virus and anti-spyware software)

~ checking proxies

~ checking LAN settings

~ restarting modem and router

~ reseting winsock

~ clearing host files

~ making sure I have all Windows updates installed

~ system restore

~ removing all my recent updates/programs I've installed since probelm started

contacting Apple customer service, and live assisting with a "pro", who I sepnt over an hour with, gave her ability to view my desktop, and she ended up completely screwing up my Inernet connection by having me delete some autorun Bonjour files (since fixed with system restore, thankfully)

~ running iTunes diagnotic test (results at bottom of this message)

~ date, time, and time zones are correct

~ flushed DNS settings

***Only thing I haven't done is checking if the required ports Apple uses are allowed... I don't know how to do that. Plus I don't know why that would've changed recently....

****Still think it might be something to due with the autoruns of my Winsock Providers (still don't know what that means or if I'm saying it correctly....). Under my protocol catalog it says lspent7.dll not found

What else can I do??? I'm getting so aggravated! It was working fine just a week ago, and I can't figure out anything I've changed (that I haven't already addressed) that could be causing the issue.
