My contact photos used to display full screen on the old iOS 6 when my contact would call. They no longer appear as Caller ID in iOS 7.x? Any idea if this is "by design" or is there a setting I'm missing?

Thanks S. Why would Apple take such a useful feature away? Kinda stinks now....I can hardly see the contact pictures to begin with....and now they do not even display until the call is answered. Really stupid functionality.

By the way, I agree with your sentiment.
But I think you are suggesting there is no picture displayed. I believe there is a small oval picture displayed in the upper right corner.
Actually, the contact pictures do not display until the call is answered...too late!
Everything goes down. Now contact photos. What is next ? Maybe Apple will turn off the wi-fi option in the next update.

Me too. Cannot see the teenty-tiny photo now provided. Having searched the web and come up with nothing, I called Applecare. No help there. After a good half-hour, the only final response was, "Send feedback."

I'm not 100% certain, but I think with iOS 8, they will be back...I saw a sneak picture of a screenshot that looked like it was a full sized photo of a calling screen. Maybe someone familiar with iOS 8 can reply and confirm?
