How do I remove Virtualbox from Macbook Pro?

Remove virtual box!

I am having slow issues with Mavericks since I updated. I have plenty of ram. I posted a thread and this person helped me and found virtualbox on my computer. I have never used windows on my computer. I was told by apple store to buy more ram for the slowness of my computer spinning disk when i type or open a program. I think removing virtual box will help but we are having a hard time removing it. After trying a few things he said "VirtualBox is still hanging around, and loading extensions, at this point you need 'hands on' help to remove it, this method isn't working.” Anyone know how to remove virtual box from a mac? Thought I would try one more time! and here is some more info. Thank you so much

Download virtualbox again and run the uninstaller

2.2.2. Uninstallation

To uninstall VirtualBox, open the disk image (dmg) file again and double-click on the uninstall icon contained therein.

It want start in safe mode even! I did cntrl r and I repaired disk permission that didn't work, I did a terminal trick that did not work so right now I am re installing OS X ?? Maybe that will help. I don't remember I deleted so much and I used easy find like you had me do that one time as well!

I'd say as long as you have the reinstall already going, let it finish. Hopefully that puts back what you deleted. Repairing permissions won't do anything for this. You just learned not to delete what you're not sure of, the hard way.

That looks fine, now just use it for 24 hours (things are going on behind the scenes that will cause a reduction in performance for a while after an OSX install)

Who is putting these things on your Mac if you are not. TuneUpMyMac is another piece of crap, and it is one that was not there the previous time you ran the Etrecheck report.

Ok, either this stuff has come installed already like the virtualbox app or I installed it to try and fix my computer just recently, deleted it but obviously unsuccessfully and made it worse lol. I have stopped installing anything without your ok! so now what. I am never on my computer because of how slow it is ugh
