Can't Activate with my Apple ID

Were you able to fix the problem? I currently have the same problem and looking fro help.

Many times you get errors on a device that you swear that the Apple ID and password is yours and it won't work?, I've had the same situation before, My fix most of the time is called re-booting very simple as 1)turn the device off completely

2)leave it off for about 30 seconds

3) turn it back on and you may feel the zzzzz from the buzzer

4) try it again and if it is yours, It should work, if it does not, then you gotta contact Apple for a password

reset in which they will ask for your info that you set up when you first bought the device...

how do you "release" it. I have this same problem with our work ipad. It was originally set up with someones personal apple ID (whom still works here). How do we get it to be released from who originally set it up?

There is definitely a problem with the activation lock. I have an iPhone 6s which needed a reset after putting in the wrong code too many times. Did the reset button can't get beyond the **** activation lock. It's the same idea as I used to log in to this page!

Bought brand new not second hand or stolen.

Called apple and they don't even know. My next phone will not be an iPhone.

If anyone knows the answer because apple doesn't seem too.
