how can i unlock my iphone 4 in pakistan?

i can't unlock my iphone in pakistan. tried so many ways to unlock my phone but none of anyone is working i am in big trouble please help me

In order to use a local SIM in your locked iPhone you will need to get the phone unlocked. Contrary to what Protonic thinks, it is perfectly possible and legal to unlock an iPhone. However, the only people who can do it legitimately are the network to which the phone is locked. Not all network providers offer unlocking, so you'll have to contact Orange FR and ask if they offer unlocking and what the requirements are.


The unlocking process is done via iTunes after the network has submitted the IMEI to Apple.


Unlocking an iPhone legitimately by the network is nothing whatsoever to do with jailbreaking. I've no idea why Protonic even mentioned jailbreaking. She must be confused...
