I've recently bought the new macbook pro (10.9.2) and was wondering if the ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE CS3 DESIGN PREMIUM software would still work on the new laptop? If anybody could help me, it would be most appreciated.

I just had a look at some of the Adobe CS3 products at Roaring Apps (http://roaringapps.com/apps?index=a) and it seems that most of the apps in the CS3 Design Premium Suite will, surprisingly, work with Mavericks.
Not you'll just have to find a way to install it (unless you're restoring from a backup - in which case you'll probably still need your activation code).

You could have problems with the installation. The apps work, but re-installing CS3 was a pain. I had to be talked through the various hoops by Adobe tech support. There were about six separate steps, including a new code they provided.
The good part is that CS3 runs fine in Mavericks.
