My ipad stopped sending texts from my mobile #, I have an iPhone 5s. It now sends texts only from my email. How do I add my phone number back on to the ipad?
iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 7.1
Go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at>check (select) your iPhone number in there - if it is appearing. If the phone number does not appear, try turning Messages off on both the iPhone and the iPad. Restart both devices. Turn Messages on the iPhone first and activate it. Then do the same on the iPad and hopefully the phone number will be accessible again.
