How do I hard reset/wipe an iPhone?

I want to wipe the phone of all data. New software prevents this if an old Apple ID is already assigned. This is a good feature for stolen phones but insaely annoying for people that manage business accounts like me. I have lots of ingoing/outgoing people that use these phones and half the people that leave the company don't want to be bothered with this stuff once they've left. I can even provide proof of purchase but no one has been able to help out yet as of now.

Well, I'd suggest you find a way to provide proof of ownership. If you can, you could then call AppleCare & ask to talk to "Account Security", & they would probably fix this for you. But without the ability to prove ownership, you're out of luck.

How should I remember...the thread is over a year old. Did you even notice that? What's the point of resurrecting such an old discussion, as the OP has no doubt moved on by now?
