how do i download adobe flash for macbook?

When I try to down load the adobe flash player, so my kids can play their games on my new macbook, I get an error message half way through and then nothing. I have no idea how to remedy this, or remove the installer from my desktop. help!

If you are needing to use Safe mode, that generally indicates something like Little Snitch, or MacKeeper or similar software is installed. If MacKeeper, remove it with:

If Little Snitch, you may want to remove when you are safely downloading software from normal sources such as the website. Do not trust downloads from popup windows.
