How to use formulas in Numbers?

I am having trouble getting the simplest formula in Numbers to work, dividing two numbers. So, obviously I don't know how to use it properly. Does anyone have good videos to watch for using formulas? And, how would you input this formula for division. I was entering and clicking: click cell 1, hit divide on the keyboard, click cell # 2, hit enter. The result is a big red triangle.

I am using the new Numbers 3.1.

Thank you

to enter a formula you have to:

1) select the cell where you want the answer to appear (the destination cell)

2) type the "=" (equal sign)

3) select the cell with the numerator

4) type the divide operator (/),

5) then click the denomenator

here is an example:

cell A1 will contain the result of the numberator divided by the denomenator

cell B1 contains the numberator

cell C1 contains the denomenator

Select cell A1, then type the "=":
