I have an iPad stuck in activation lock. I can get it unlocked by providing apple with some information, however in need the IMIE number. It is nowhere on the back, and I can’t seem to find it inside. Can anybody help me find this number?

Had this problem, simply press the i button bottom right hand corner of "hello" activation screen and IMEI should appear.

Ill call up Apple Enterprise Support in a while to see if they can help me retrieve the number. I need to provide the number to them anyway to get the iPad out of activiation lock.

If it is a cellular iPad, the IMEI number is printed on the back, next to the serial number.
Agreed. That is all present tense. The OP made no reference to what experience she/he has had with the iPad in the past.

Is it a cellular iPad ? If it's a wifi only model it won't have an IMEI number
