Anybody know how to delete old birthday entries?.

Anybody know how to delete old birthday entries?. Ex a person lets say Amanda have had 3 birthdays since I added her to the standard calendar in iPhone 5 latest ios. She now shows up 3 times in the calendar, one for each year that she had a birthday. I only want to see the upcoming birthday not the pas ones.
