Panorama app for iPhone 4?

I have known that on my friends iPhone 4s and iPhone 5 have the option for panorama picture on there camera.

But why is it not on the iPhone 4? Is it another kind of hardware or what makes the different.

iPhone 4 (8GB), iOS 7.0.6

No one here would have any idea why Apple decided not to make this feature available to iPhone 4 users. But there are plenty of apps in the app store you can use. Here's one:
