Converting a Windows Media Audio/Video Playlist file (WMA) to an Mp3 file

I have a song download file I found from a download link. This song is in WMA (Windows Media Audio/Video Playlist) format and it won't convert it into an Mp3 file when I try to import it into my iTunes library.

Any tips for converting the format?

Sounds as if the song is a protected wma file (you don't say where you downloaded this from).

If so, the only way would be to burn it to an audio cd and import it into iTunes as you would any other cd.

Link no good for me.

My guess is protected wma file, so see my above post.
