Bootcamp support software 5.1.5621 - slow wifi internet

Very slow wifi internet on bootcamp with support software version 5.1.5621. It has cycles of slowing down. It works than speed droppes down for a long time and than it is back. No such problem on another PC, so there is no problem with provider. Internt is fine. And LAN adapter works fine thru LAN cable on this bootcamp. I suspect it is a driver issue. Does anyone else have such a problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

you have a mbp, right? which one

is the wifi ok on the OSX side of your machine? if so, could be a driver or just a gremlin. you could try re-installing the drivers or completely removing the wifi network (netsh commands) and adding it back

I have reinstalled windows and it did not help.

Yes on Maverick everything is fine. I also suspect that it is driver issue.

Now I am using external USB wifi adapter (from my PC desktop) so far it works fine.

you've checked everything except another wifi device at the same time, your wifi itself could be dropping out

Thanks for info. Very promising. I shall check it and come back with feedback. For several hours i was using external usb wifi adapter without any problem. Now I shall check older version of broadcom driver. Thank you.

Yes it solved the problem. Not perfect but much better, only one thing - there was different driver in the list and now I have installed driver for Broadcom 802.11n adapter of version 5.106.199.1 dated 11/13/2012.

Nope, wifi works fine. I had issues when inet was ok on PC and having serious problems on Bootcamp. And by the way I use 64 bit Win7 Ultimate. Maybe for 32bit driver is more stable?
