while installing adope flash player on my new macbook air , this message appears ,, i'm already not using safari ,, i cant think of anything else to close ..help ?!

Go to menu bar at the very top of the screen and click the application name next to
the Apple icon.
From the dropdown select Quit Application name", if it is Safari, Select "Quit Safari".

If anyone else is having the issue where the Flash install is asking you to close Safari when you know it's closed, try this:
1. Open activity monitor: Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor
2. Find a process called WebkitPluginAgent and force that to quit.
3. Then retry the flash install.
The above solution fixed the problem for me in OS X 10.10.1 . You can force it to quit by clicking the X in the upper left corner of the Activity Monitor window. After selecting WebkitPluginAgent.
