adding icons to the toolbar...

Forum,
In the Finder window, I know I can customize the toolbar and add an icon such as Burn.
I want to be able to put my own icon in there to launch a specific applications. For example, I want to put Final Cut Pro's icon in the Finder's window for a quick launch.
I have seen pictures of this in the Macworld magazines and in other websites.
Is this really possible? If so, how do I do it?
Thanks

KEY *user actions* "file name" [menu item] {Program}

Hey Benny,

Last I checked, you had to *right click* "application.app", [open package contents], open "resources", and open "Icon.icns" in {Preview} and [save as] ".png".

Then replace as filename in the representation you want,
and rename your file to .icns

The only problem with this is that when you replace that file, you do so permenently.

Hope you find an easier way,

When you drag it to the right spot, just to the right of the action (gear) pop-up menu in the default configuration, a green plus sign appears letting you know you are adding it. If you drag something that you do not want there, just hold down the command key and click and drag it off. You can also hold down the command key to rearrange the items.
