how do I block spam instant messages from email addresses?

I get spam from a Chinese site 163.com - apparently from randomly-generated email addresses. I want to block the entire domain if possible. Can I put in a wild card or something to block these messages? And how are they sending them to me - using a telephonenumber@carrier.net kind of an I.D. or what? I've blocked over 20 individual senders so far but I can see this is going to continue to grow.

Further information - these spam messages appear in the Messages app of both my iPad and my iPhone. As far as I know, I cannot normally receive SMS on my iPad. Therefore, these appear to be through iMessage, meaning they care coming from an iOS or MacOS system.

The suggestion to contact my "carrier" about blocking - well, I guess the "carrier" would be Apple?
