me294t/a vs me294ll/a, what is difference?

What is difference about these models?

Do you know other codes about me294? I'm going to buy 15" and I'd like to know the code differences.

I'll use virtual machines (two windows OS, I think) and no graphics applications... what do you think about ram size ? 8 or 16 GB ?

other suggestions?

thanks

Rickyleroy,

the ME294T/A has an Italian keyboard; the ME294LL/A has a US keyboard.

For Late 2003 models, the order numbers for 15-inch models and their default specifications are:

  • ME293: 2.0 GHz Core i7, 8 GB RAM, 1 GB VRAM (integrated GPU only), 256 GB SSD
  • ME294: 2.3 GHz Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 2 GB VRAM (integrated and discrete GPUs), 512 GB SSD
  • ME874: 2.6 GHz Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 2 GB VRAM (integrated and discrete GPUs), 1 TB SSD

Retina models have their RAM soldered in, so their RAM is not upgradeable. The Late 2003 models have PCIe SSDs, which are theoretically upgradeable, but no replacement SSDs are currently available for purchase. Make your choice carefully.
