Ipod Touch 4 exchange with Ipad Mini?

Hi, I have an Ipod Touch 4th generation that I have bought online from Singapore, do you think it would be possible for me to exchange that Ipod for an Ipad Mini 32GB and pay the rest of the cost off? My Ipod is 8GB and my name is engraved at the back along with; "Talk the talke, walk the walk" Which means; Do what I say, not what I do 🙂 THankss 🙂
