Cannot update or install iSight from Apple site.

I have downloaded this update from the Apple website and my computer is not allowing me to install it:

http://support.apple.com/kb/DL502

When I try and open up the udate I get this message from Apple:

"iSightUpdater103.pkg" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.

"iSightUpdater103.pkg" is on the disk image

"iSightUpdater103.dmg". Safari downloaded this disk image today at 11:22 AM from support.apple.com.

I have changed my secrity preferences to allow the installation of this but I still keep getting the same message. I would like to know if there is another way to download this software. I did not see it in the App Store so I think this might be the only place to download the software.

Thanks in advace for your help!

(1) The iSight updater you refer to can not do what you want on your system:

iSight Updater 1.0.3 will not run on your OS X Mavericks (10.9.2). Requirements for http://support.apple.com/kb/DL502 include, in part,: Mac OS X v10.3.7-10.3.9.

Even if your Mac were running a 10.3.7-10.3.9 version of OS X, because 1.0.3 Updater's effect is limited to ONLY "Improved audio performance", you would not obtain the hoped for fix for "auto exposure, white blance, performance..."

(2) If your old external iSight is no longer providing adequate video quality after considering the suggestions in iSight camera failure after OS X 10.9 Mavericks update, you may need to test your iSight and its cable and/or Firewire adapters using methods like those suggested in this old article entitled How to test your iSight to ensure it is functional.

(3) If your old external iSight needs service, consider the info in Apple - Support - iSight - Service FAQ.

(4) Alternatively, you may want to consider a new USB webcam such as one of those discussed in Apple Compatible Webcams For Mac OSX.
