my apple tv first generation does not connect to itunes store but i does to youtube. How can I solve it?

We're trying to keep all issues in that thread so there's one major thread for this problem GeorgeVargas suggested we log the details of our ATV so we can get a picture of all the models and software versions affected. It will also make it easier for Apple to reiview this issue.
