What operating system are you using on the MacBook Pro?
Where exactly are you trying to "see" the Time Capsule?
I am running Maverick OS X 10.9.2 (13C64), and I am trying to access the HD on the TC
We assume that you have power cycled your entire network.
Please take us through the steps that you are using to reach the HD on the TC.
What happens after each step?
When I open air port utility it searches for the device but nothing comes up. I am able to connect to the internet but not the HD. I have tried opening finder but I cannot see the device there either.
Likely, Mavericks bugs.
On your Mac.....
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
Open Network
Click on WiFi on the left to highlight it, then click Advanced on the lower right
Click the TCP/IP tab
Make sure that the setting for Configure iPv6 is set to Link Local Only
Click OK, then click Apply in the next window
Then, click Ethernet and repeat the same process as above
Restart the Mac
Then, pull the power plug on the Time Capsule, count to ten, then plug it back in
Wait a full minute for the Time Capsule to restart, then see if AirPort Utility can see the Time Capsule
That did it, thank you for the assistance
