I have just purchased a Sony A6000

I can't import the photos to iPhoto in RAW. I have the latest updates on my Macbook and iPhoto. Can anyone tell me why?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

I just moved from a NEX-7 to an A6000. But the RAW files from my new A6000 are terribly over exposed by default. Just a plain wrong RAW conversion. The same with the Sony Digital Imaging program displays fine.


So when you say RAW is supported, because it reads the RAW files, is the result actually usable for you?

That is probably, because the raw converter plugin for a different camera is used. use the software that came with your camera, while you are waiting for the release of a camera specific RAW converter.
