I have just purchased a Sony A6000
I can't import the photos to iPhoto in RAW. I have the latest updates on my Macbook and iPhoto. Can anyone tell me why?
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Neither do we - do you have an iPhoto for Mac question that the volenteer users here can assist with? - No one cares about guilt or has even mentioned it except you - we can simply tell you what is - and so far A6000 is not

I just downloaded the RAW update and it's now recognizing the RAW files from the A6000! Yay!
It works now. The May 15th RAW update works. iPhoto/Aperture now recognize RAW! Yay!
Good -

Fantastic! Finally
Thanks to all for the posts

Does Aperture really read the ICLE-6000 RAW files correctly?
I just moved from a NEX-7 to an A6000. But the RAW files from my new A6000 are terribly over exposed by default. Just a plain wrong RAW conversion. The same with the Sony Digital Imaging program displays fine.
So when you say RAW is supported, because it reads the RAW files, is the result actually usable for you?
You need the Aperture forum...
The Sony-A6000 is still not officially supported, see the list:

That is probably, because the raw converter plugin for a different camera is used. use the software that came with your camera, while you are waiting for the release of a camera specific RAW converter.
